Are we allowed to run these Falken RT-615 at riverhead??

Tire rule:

Any 7 - inch passenger car tire or light truck tire may be used. No RV, off road, snow tires or recaps. M&S tires permitted. Up to 5 ply passenger car tire with a load range of A or B only. No shaving or grooving. No racing tires. No wheel weights. All tires must be same size. Sidewalls cannot be greased. No foreign substances of any kind permitted in.

The tires you asked about are listed as,
DOT approved street-legal racing tires.
So i would say NO.....

hey smoke,
I've been running the same tire for years,they're legal 100%.
Great tire,but they're loose until they warm up.

It's the way they word the marketing from falken tires.
It can be used for racing.
Any tire can technically be used for racing.
At one point they were illegal,because they are 5ply,then the rules allowed 5ply.

Hey forget about how they word it, you gotta watch out how you pronounce them "falken" tires.....................:eek:

thank you all for your input, i have a tire place i deal with that i can get them for a decent price, i will do some more research
