Please post more pictures of the Regal (I think it was a Regal.)
That car was awesome.
And if you have other pictures from that year; Artie Tappen, Red Raynor (which is easy to remember since it was factory paint), and my personal favorite Junior Dilmore.

I want to model those cars in HO scale for a slot car track.

Great photos. I love "real" bodies. The Regal looked so awesome. In the last photo from the previous post is the #39 Dennis Freese?

Those were good times. My dad has an exact copy model of the Regal that was made by a fan in 1981. Ill take some pics and post it. That car had a Prototype Racing engine and the chassis was a Howe. My dad said it was the ultimate best car he ever drove. We took it to the Oxford 250 in 81'. We ran in the top five until one of the 180 header pipes burnt a plug wire with about 30 laps to go. I think Geoff Bodine won the race.

Enjoyed your race photos very much.
Wished you would scanned and enlarged them for us old poor vision jam race fans like me.

Photos #1. and #2. below is my bad examples of blowing up thumbnail-size photos into bigger blur photos.
Photo #2. What was the names of the (5) pit crewmen in the photo??

I guess it was 1980, not 81' but he did run real well until he pulled out with the burnt wires.
Anyway , the crew members were Crew Chief Carl Rackoff, Robert Barton ( now on the DLP Sprint Cup Team). John Livingston, John Visconti , Tommy Barton and Michael Visconti ( mascot), Not pictured was Marty Kimlinger

Did Marty pass away in the late 80s. I think during an operation. If so, His son Chris helped me out on my charger during the late 90s

Thats funny, most people only know him as "Cookie". His real name is John. It started with his mom , when he was born she called him "her little cookie" and it continued from there...
