I was stunned to read on the LI Jam that a friend to many of us who post here has passed away.

Dwight Clock.

I never met him or even know his age but got to know him through his posts and PM's.

He was a true gentleman with many great stories of racing days gone by.

He will be missed by many.

Dwight was a friend to many in racing.

I did a little research on the Internet. We know from his registration on LI Jam that he turned 60 on Aug 17th of this year. He passed away around Sept 5th according to a post I found on another board. 'Google' his name and you will find out much about him and how well he was regarded. The message board I read had over 10 pages of posts by people who were surprised to find out he was gone.

He always contributed great things when he joined in on a thread, and had a wealth of information when it came to Long Island's racing history, in addition to what he knew of racers who'd participated in the old All-Star series that ran along the East Coast.

To say that he will be missed is an understatement. :*-(

Rest in peace, Dwight, and thanks for everything.

This is the original thread. I received the information from the HAMB.

The link posted in my and Peters post no longer seems to work. So I suggest doing as Walther suggested.
