I was not STATING anything, just ASKING a question, and yes I could pm him but it's probably none of my business anyway. I figured I would ASK here and maybe he would share - that's naturally up to him. I'm NOT gonna bother the guy by calling him with questions unrelated to the sale of the car. The Enduro #9 truck does not belong to Tommy, he just drives it for Jimmy White. Jimmy is selling for his own reason, I do not have that answer. Tommy is selling his BB #00 because he hates everyone in the division...
Just kidding, if he is succesful in selling the BB he will try to find a suitable race car/truck to race in another division. Very simple.

I decided to grab the ball on this one, and I DID call Tommy.

His response was that if someone is seriously interested in the car, they should call him. If they are tire kickers or just being nosy, don't bother.

He said there are no definite plans right now, but he was happy to hear that everyone was so concerned.

There are a lot of cars that are for sale which just haven't sold. Eddie Mistretta has come down on the price of his at least 3 times, and it's been for sale all season. When we sold our championship-winning car, it was for sale for roughly two seasons, and we sold that for peanuts compared to what a lot of these cars are selling for now (including that car itself, which is also for sale).

Where have YOU been? Thats how the field looks almost every Sept. Check the classifieds in a month.

Before this thread turns into another Walkowiak bashing thread, let me set the record straight. since I own the car I think I am a good source of info regarding who and why someone was driving it. The car was "undriveable" about two weeks before practice. Walkowiak did not have the time and resources to get the car together and be competitive. We spoke and I decided to try and find another driver. Brian from Racing Creations, knowing I wanted to get the car on the track, came up with the idea of putting Tommy Rogers and myself together. Rogers had the time since his modified was ready and also has supreme knowledge and resources to get the car together.

Relax.....noone bashed any one that I know of. I just think Tommy Rodgers is one heck of a driver, thats all. You can pretty much put him in anything and he will drive the wheels off it. Did you see my name on any of the "bashing" posts? It is what it is.
