to me this is prime weather for racing at least another month! sad to see the season end. had a blast this year and im already looking foward to next year! Thanks to all the regulars in the 8 cylinders, Good Racing!!!!!

Only 209 days left until the 1st practice, it will come quicker than it sounds, it always does.

Reason for there season being over is the local govt forcing them to...

Once the schools open the crowds drop, no track on LI has ever run many races (if any) after September 30 except maybe Islip and that was 25- 30 years ago.

Riverhead once tried to run into late September/Early October in the Early/mid 80's on Sunday Afternoons, but the Crowds were VERY small from what I remember.

Many tracks run till snow covers them or track temp is below 30, atleast RC's and DS, then some run snow rallies.

And we know there are tons of RC's and DS's on Long Island that are well supported by the crowds into at least November don't we:confused:

hey Hollywood im sure the kart racing is a blast and wish i could try it but im also 6.2 240lbs and dont think its such a good class for me maybe my son in a couple more years thou! Good luck and i will definatly come check it out! Dave:cheers:

Not on long island at this time, but every where else...NY is a big state with a many tracks still running
