View Full Version : Late Models Added To Oktoberfest Prelude at Lee

Lee USA Speedway announced today the addition of the Lee Late Model Division to it’s “Prelude To Oktoberfest” race program on Sunday September 28th. The top division at the New Hampshire oval will compete in a 30 lap feature race as part of the special program featuring nine divisions of competition. Speedway operatives have received inquiries from as far away as Long Island , NY and Seekonk , MA ., for the two consecutive weekend programs. The annual Oktoberfest will contest on October 4th and October 5th.

Locke’s Crane Services has posted additional purse monies for the Small Block Supermodified Division with $1,000 going to the winner of the feature race. In addition, the Late Model Sportman, Hobby Stocks, Race Trucks, Road Runners, Mini Cups, Ironman, and S.T.A.R. cars will be in action.

The Senior Tour Auto Racers organization features restored race cars from yesteryear. Founded in 1999, it showcases one of the largest displays of antique stock cars in the northeast.

Another form of motorsports competition, popular with fans is Spectator Drags.

At stake is the NH State Championship with a special four-foot trophy going to the winner. The event is limited to 20 entries and each competitor must show proof of registration to track officials to compete. Only street registered cars are allowed entry.

Gates open at 9:00AM with practice sessions at 12 noon. The first race of the afternoon is slated for 2:00 P.M. For additional information call the track office at 978-462-4252.
