Twin State Speedway reschedules the New England Outdoor Furnaces Weekend

Claremont NH. - Mother Nature has not been kind to Twin State Speedway this season so this weekend’s bad weather came to no surprise to track owner Dennis Fleury. This is just the way this season has worked out for us this year, all you can do is keep things in a positive perspective and move forward stated Fleury. And that is just what the management of TSS has done. With the weather this weekend as bad as what it was it was decided to the plug early to help all the teams that are traveling a long distance, with teams coming from as far away as Pennsylvania and New Jersey it just didn’t make since to go forward this weekend. TSS has rescheduled the complete event featuring the True Value Modifieds, NEMA Midgets, NEMA Lites, Pro Stocks, All Star Race Trucks, Allison Legacy Series plus all the weekly TSS divisions for the weekend of Oct.24th.25th and 26th. The weekend schedule will remain the same with an open practice session on Fri. the 24th with pit gates opening at 12 noon with practice running from 2pm until 6pm. Than on Sat. the 25th the pit gates swing open at 7am with practice starting at 9am The days activities will be highlighted by a pair of 50 lap features for the returning Pro Stocks as well as the Late Models plus Super Streets, Strictly Stocks, All Star Race Trucks, Allison Legacy Series the Youth Sportsman division and to round out the day a 50 lap 4cyl enduro.

Then on Sunday Oct. 26th the True Value Mods roll into TSS with the running of the Ricky Miller Memorial 100. Also on the card will be ultra fast winged NEMA Midgets as well as the NEMA Lites Pepsi/SK Lite Modifieds as well as the Pro Four Modifieds To add a little more spice to the event the point season will come to a close on the True Value Modifieds as well as the NEMA Midgets. Pit gates will open on Sunday at 8am with practice starting at 10am. Racing will start at 1pm on both days. For more information check us out on the web at www.twinstatespeedway.net.
