Event commemorating the OLD BRIDGE SPEEDWAY! From 1953-1968 the Old Bridge Speedway provided family fun for Old Bridge (formerly Madison Twp.) and all of central New Jersey.
Come for two days of Food, Fun, and Racing Memorabilia at the Thomas Warne Museum!!! Saturday and Sunday October 11th and 12th.
Doors open at 10am and Close at 4pm
Call the Museum for additional info, (732)566-2108 and keep an eye on the website!
I plan on checking this event out on Saturday, Oct. 11th...it's right near my old neighborhood in Old Bridge, NJ. I spoke to the organizers briefly at the county fair this past summer. They said they were going to try to get some Old Bridge Stadium drivers to attend. They had no names at the time though. I'll try to take some pics of this event. I'll also try to take some shots where the old track used to be. There's really nothing left to see but there used to be a bit of old pavement in a wooded-over area where the old pit entrance used to be. Here's the link
