:help:At KOTM yesterday,when Jonh Fortin elected to stay out on track with a caution waving,did the officals say the pits were closed?

No they did not. I was in the booth for the whole race, they called the 'pits open' over the scanner, and John inherited the lead when all the others pitted for tires.

Thats not what was heard over the scanner. At first instant of caution the call "pits are closed" came over the scanner. Then everyone went to the pits.
