Thanks for the offer of assistance.......I should be okay (just have to think back to Shop Girl and I doing live updates!!).........will be hectic, but should be a fun day and hopefully a safe race for all......

The last I spoke to J.A., the SKs were just about done. Peyton Sellers won a wild Camping World race. Don't know the details, but there was some hair-raising last laps, then alot of consulting between officials......I'm sure it will be posted at a later date.

I believe that you will have to refresh.
PLEASE, let's be kind to one another and refresh no more than once per minute.

SK race is over. Woody Pitkat won the race and Keith Rocco won the championship. Congrats to both.......

Mod Tour wagons are heading out to the infield now. Hopefully we'll go green in 30 minutes, depending on driver introductions, etc.

J.A. and I will only be doing 10 lap reports, unless a caution comes up. So we ask that you refrain from refreshing too many times.......

Had a great time at Chemung. It's a great facility. I was impressed at how quickly most of the drivers got used to turns 3 & 4. And lets face it - the TC/Flemke show was worth the price of admission. That was a riot! Should be interesting to see how it all plays out... It's always great to see the mods race - especially when its close to home for me!

Thank you soooo much Linda for helping out today.
Some small notes.
Christopher leading Camper World and taken out.
Christopher leading SK race and taken out.
Beginning of tour race, Stefanik and Christopher pulled away from the field. After pit stops, Christpher really had no oomph to move up to the leaders. Stefanik, Hirschman, Preece and Hossfeld pretty much had field covered.
Preece ended up off the pace and parked it.
Blewett also hit the infield and parked it.
Beers also ran well.
Smooth race overall, mucho freight train...

J.A. I almost (notice I said almost!) wish the live update section would go down a few times a year.......it's the only time I get to chat with you! Given the fact that we had to scramble to get going, thanks to our members and guests :applause: who kept posts to a bare minimum, it worked out fine......

Catch you later..........Linda

I just arrived home from stafford after watching a pretty good wmt race .congrats to the 16 gang on a well deserved win.The sk feature was the most pathetic race that I have ever seen .there were only 13 caution flags for a40 lap feature, how wonderful. If this is the tracks best division for the weekly racing series the track should hang their heads in shame.I have been going to modified races for over forty years and all I can say is thank god for the WMT.As for the SKs shame on you.

it just seems like our sks always do this... whenever they race on a big weekends like Spring sizzler or fall final they fall apart... for our die hard fans at SMS, you know that there was a stretch in july august where they put on some good shows, just too bad they get the black eyes when the tour fans come in and all they see is a wreck fest... maybe they just can't race without the lights on or something...

RGee I forgot about the bus!

Jaws Jr. wants to know if he won the pool?

Next week at Thompson should be great, who needs a chase!

Again thanks for the updates, I got to check on 3 different computers in 3 different places.

Because there were 2 posts for the finish and just needed the drivers run down with no other info.
Get rid of the fire face Jeff.

All those cats in the SK race that spin and sit there waiting for the yellow to come out then mysteriously pull away when it does come out should be parked, period. Not put down a lap or 3 laps, but parked.
No excuse for ruining a race for everyone else because of someone's own selfishness.

Honestly, that should be in any class, not just SK.

True, I hate it when it happens anytime, but it occurred a lot with the SK's today.
And Stafford has to get rid of that STUPID lucky dog rule for their weekly divisions. One guy got a 3 lap penalty early in the race for intentionally bringin out a yellow, and wound up finishing 6th.

Oh yeah, a rule like that would re-fire more 'stalled cars' than a Die-Hard battery!!!
