I would just like to offer a hearty congrats to Erick Rudolph for his utter domination of the Sportsman race during Super Dirt Week. :cheers:
The race went green for the first half and he had built up nearly a 1/3 lap lead (on the mile)! After some yellow fever, the last portion also ran yellow napkin free, and he ended up winning by over a straightaway. I cannot recall the last time I saw a race dominated like that. In addition, it was pretty impressive to hear him flat-foot around the mile. It sure didn't sound like he ever lifted.
With not knowing most of the Sportsman drivers, it was a pleasant surprise to hear his name in the starting lineup and to have someone to root for.
