Ok, just hung up with an employee of Riverhead Raceway, and got some chatter regarding some potential future issues. I am not at liberty to say which employee, for obvious reasons, or the matter at hand exactly, but can ask some questions regarding chatter.
Let's put this to rest right now. I'd like a car count. If you have a full blown race ready LM, please say so, and the same goes for a full blown race ready 'SK' type modified. I am interested to know how many of each there are out there. It does not matter if you have one that you can't afford to race, or can't race for any other reason, just if you have one ready to race.

Please oblige me. I am interested in knowing how many potentials there are out there in each class.

Thank You.

i think if you try to find out the car count of how many latemodels are out there and my guess is about 22 vs. 7 sk's which are race ready.

That's Long Island Sk's of course! When is the last time we had 22 late models on the track? I love the Late Models, but wish they were more like the Late Models from the Northeast!

We all know what those are worth.

Bullfather,

Which late models of the Northeast? There's ACT, PASS, Pro Stocks, Late Models, Outlaw Late Models. The Northeast has quite the diversity of cars called "Late Models." Therein lies the problem.

Not sure why you would say the Chargers would be next? Or why anyone would be next for that matter. I don't think SK's are the answer, but they're certainly a nice temporary replacement.

The Chargers would have no chance in hell.

if you put the late models on an 8 inch tire and add a little weight , you may see a different result. jmo.
