Would anyone like to ride share with me to north/south shootout? i will provide transport; just let me ahead of time so i get get rooms; days off; I will be leaving Scranton pa on thursday nite after work about 330-400pm if anyone is intrested! also MUST come home either after races sat nite; stay over; or leave early sunday morning( i have work monday); also doe anyone know if how many Supers they will get? i read another board that the 2008 Isma Champion # 11 Chris Perley is NOT going; so if that is the case; I think i better rethink about this! maybe last minute him and his team will go? Anyway because of this years rules; few west coast teams are not going; i found this out on the same board; any truth to this? Later; Kinserfan11

Even 10 Supers would make for a great race on this super fast tri-oval. Why not wait and see, you've still go a little over a week to decide. Last year's Super race was great.

I agree... Last year there were at least 40 supers! The race was abosulutley AMAZING! Perley got beat!

That sucks, I was looking forward to seeing the supers again. They are wild from the pits watching them come off the tri-oval.

From what I hear there may be 15 cars and no cars from the west coast due to the rules this year. Just what I heard.

I got that on another board; so I really dont know:(

What kind of rules are they putting in place for the supers? It must be something dramatic if no West Coast cars are showing up. With the Shootout being less than 2 weeks away, I hope more cars are entered in .

I would hate to see last years success turned into this years failure

I'd like to know what rules they changed this year too. Did they add weight to the west cars ? Seemed like all three groups were pretty even at last years race. The winning west coast car did seem to launch of turn four better than the others but a east car was second. One o0ther question is why did they have to pit outside the track, seems that the other support divisions should have been out there than the supers.

Like WJ says...wait and see..Maybe something last minute will come through and the powers that be will relax the rules a little bit

I went down to the track today to scout things out . i talked with a track worker and he told me 53 modifieds and 28 supermodifieds were on the roster with more expected to come.

Lets hope for a good turnout this year

Thanks for the info. If even half of each group shows up, it'll be a great racing weekend, as always. :)

I'll be there early Friday!!!
