UPSTART IOFS UNVEILS EARLY DETAILS

Indianapolis, IN - October 30, 2008 - Officials from the International Outlaw Figure 8 Series ( IOFS ) today released early details on newly launched series. The touring Outlaw Figure 8 series is scheduled to debut in 2009 with a handful of events already scheduled as of this release.

Headed by series director, Charlie Hargraves, and his managing partner, David Sink, the series will feature Late Model Figure 8 racing in an open competition 'run what ya brung’ format. The series is expected to be a five to ten race traveling series to run at select Figure 8 venues throughout the Midwest.

Hargraves explained the reasoning for the purpose of the new traveling series. "There are a lot of great Figure 8 tracks throughout the Midwest that have never been exposed to our brand of Figure 8 racing and we hope to be able to offer promoters something uniquely different and radical. We have a few other ideas we would like to explore with these types of cars as well" explained Hargraves. Hargraves also pointed out the time was right. "When David (Sink) and I kicked the idea around to a few close friends there was instant excitement. From there things just kind of started coming together and we are well ahead of where I ever thought we would be at this point. Drivers and owners contact us almost daily wanting more info and offering support " Hargraves further explained.

One of the ideas the IOFS would like to explore is the possibility of trying these types of cars on dirt. "We have had extensive discussions with several promotors about this possibility in the near future" Sink stated. Sink also was optimistic about the direction this series is headed. "Charlie and I have a real passion for this as we have been around racing our whole lives. We share a lot of the same ideas and we are on the same page as far as the direction we want the series to go in" insists Sink.

To date negotiations continue with potential speedways and sponsors for the 2009 season. For inquires about sponsorship opportunities with the IOFS contact Charlie Hargraves at (317) 445-4366 (charlie74p@aol.com) or David Sink at (765) 278-8231.(mrlittle500@aol.com)
