First off, I would like to thank the Cromarty's and the management of Riverhead Raceway, Thank You! Thank You! Thank You! As a member of the "Late Model Nation", we appreciate the opportunity to compete at our 'home track' of Riverhead Raceway for the 2009 season. Hopefully, we will be able to come back strong for 2009 with better car counts and better racing for the upcoming season.
Hey all of you LM competitors who have left the raceway in recent years because of disputes amongst ourselves and the officials, now is the time to step up and let all of your past issues be put aside so that we can prove to one and all, that the Late Model division does deserve this second chance that we have been given.

I received this great news from Mark Tooker while I was covering the N/S Shootout, and it made my weekend even better.
A big thanks to track management for giving this chance to one of the best divisions to appear once again for the entertainment of Late Model fans all across the Island. :)
