As the SK race started Eric Rudolf (45) dropped off on his speed and his car started smoking
His car stopped on the back stretch
There was a mishap in the third turn as Ryan Preece started to spin. Cars went every which what way(high and low on the track) to avoid the car.
The car that suffered the worst in this incident was Ricky Knapp (1). His car went into the concrete and foam walls. His car is being taken off of the track hammock style.
His right front of the car has been taken off of the car.
Other cars involved in the incident were: 81, 91, 27, 61, 77
There will be a complete restart of the race.
Keith Rocco (6), Adam LiCicero (27) have pitted
Last year Ricky Knapp destroyed this same car during practice time on the track. Knapp spent all of 2008 preparing his car for this year's race. With his car being towed off the track he is back in the same boat as last year.
Red Flag - The cars have stopped on pit road as the track is being cleaned.
Still under red flag conditions with no laps in the book yet for the SK 50 lap race
Jimmy Blewett has lost his power steering with no laps in.
It will be very difficult for him to clean the rubber off of his tires without power steering.
Cars are taking laps on the track to spread some of the speedi-dry
Restart coming up shortly
The car was the 45 of Gary Young, Jr not Erick Rudolf that had stopped on the back of the track. He is back in the event
On the restart in turn 3 caution again as Kenny Horton was tapped on his rear bumper and spun. There was a lot of spinning and contact made but all the cars were able to pull away except for Sherry Hogan.
Kenny Horton's crew are adjusting his car to get the front end of the car was damage during the accident.
Horton's #74 car just was brought into the pits on the tow
Red flag again is thrown so that the cars can be placed back in the correct order. About 28 of the 29 starters were involved in the last incident when Kenny Horton had spun
Tommy Farrell (08) car is on pit road as his crew works on his car
Still under caution

He also mentioned that he always wanted to talk on th emicrophone here but not for this reason. He also mentioned that he took off his Hans device after the first caution when his car was smoking on the backstretch. He wished now that he did not do it because on his seat belt held him ion his car and he is sore

From speed 51 As expected, the fight between Jimmy Blewett and Christopher was going to be big. In turn three, coming to the white flag, Blewett hit the backend of Christopher's car extremely hard. Whether Blewett drove it in there hard or Christopher brake-checked in the corner, but both were able to continue. Blewett lost a bit of space to Christopher, allowing TC to take the victory. Blewett held on to second while Steven Reed finished third. Tommy Farrell finished fourth and Doug Coby finished fifth.:applause:

Six laps left in the race. They are black flagging Flemke to force him to go to the rear he wants his 8th spot
On lap 120 B Myers passed Hirschman for the lead
Caution on lap 122 as Eric Beers stopped on the front stretch most likely out of gas and at the same time Pennick spun in the back Stretch and is coming into the infield backwards. He has right front suspension on the car
When we go green - B Myers, Hirschman, Silk, TC and Santos
Beers is in on pit road - he got a push into the pits - Dead Battery
Pennick's car is being towed into the pits
Beers crew could not get his car restarted he is out of the race
on the restart B Myers jumped to the lead
At the end of the race Bert Myers takes down the race win

Great job!!
Thanks Denise...
Bert Myers is proudly displaying the Confederate Stars and Bars in Victory Lane
Guess he is looking for a challenge for next year
There was an air filter in turn one which is what brought out the caution which allowed the lead cars to pit

He would never come up to thompson to get beat ...I woud give him his traction control and he would still lose ...
Hope to see Burt if he comes up for the turkey derby...Ran pretty good there last year

Seriously..... ENOUGH ALREADY
I along with Gmac and his father were talking to Matty after the race and even he said he didn't have any tires left (he pitted on lap 30)to go after Burt. I think he would be honest if something was up.
You're not beating a dead horse, you're making glue.

No need to close it because of one person, the hatred there is ridiculous. Congrats to Burt on the win, TC on winning the SK marathon, and to all the drivers who attended this year. I had my money on Beers, he had a stout horse and was sneaking his way to the front all night, too bad about the electrical problems. Georgie B was great the entire night, glad he brought it home, he has had too many freak things happen to him this year with a good car. The Jason Myers Flemke battle was classic, I think I saw fire shooting out of Flemke's ears after the race.
