Best AND WORST Race you Saw in 2008

OK.... lets have it. What was the BEST and WORST race of 2008????


Best - Toss up between the last 30 laps of NHMS, the last 10 laps of the TVMRS Mod Mania show, or the Wings and Wheels show at Waterford.

Worst - Ok, maybe not the worst, but I'm going to have to go with the RoC race at Oswego. With the single file restarts and the high number of cautions.... it was just a bad show for them. I've seem FAR better from the RoC gang.

I don't think worst is a fair description given the events of the day, but the Icebreaker was the most dissapointing of the shows I made it to this year.

Best was the ROC at Mahoning in June. (yeah I know I'm biased)

Best: Tough one, but I'm gonna go with the Thunnder Road TVMRS race followed closely by the Twin State TVMRS race.

Worst: The Spencer WMT race hands down. With very few exceptions, the "touring professionals" should be embarassed by that display of bonehead driving. That was like watching an sk race.

Worst race - Pro Stocks at Seekonk, D.A.V. memorial

Best race: the mods at nhms in june with Ted Christopher and Chuck Hossfeld crossing the start finish line

Worst race: SK modifieds at Stafford at the fall final

Best race.. besides the ones already mentioned at Loudon, Twin State and Thunder Road, I'll go with a True Value Race at Seekonk back in June where Chris Pasteryak tried the outisde grove and almost got pass Vinnie Annaruumo.

Worst race.. The True Value at Waterford back in June. Race lasted forever and drastically cut down the field of cars at the next few races.

Worst - IceBreaker at Thompson...just a bad (and sad) day overall.

Accident wise there was no differnece... BUt as Freddie stated JImmy got blackflaged at Stafford. BUT Won at Turkey Derby!!!!

Best.
First race at New Hampshire.
Great racing thru the field.
My favorite driver was right in the mix until the engine blew.
I hope he gets to victory lane for real there some day soon.

Worst.
Stafford Fall Final SK race.
For the most part those drivers are better than that.
