Winter Meetings

Does anyone know when the winter meeting's are?? I read the post on the riverhead site but it dident have a date..

To the best of my knowledge, the meetings will be held on January 25th. I expect to receive official word from the track office shortly. As soon as I do, it will be posted on the Jam.

If you read between the lines in the latest "Eye on Riverhead", the meetings are on Jan 25th, starting at 9:30 AM at the Polish Hall in Riverhead. :wave:

Any procedural, handicapping or tire rules will be announced at the January 25th meetings at the Polish Hall.

In speaking with Mike Cappiello and Jim Maggio the last few weeks I learned the annual Competitors Winter Meeting will indeed remain at the famed Polish Hall in Riverhead. We had eyed another facility but could not work out the details. The Blunderbusts and Legends will meet at 9:30 pm, with the Chargers and Super Pro Trucks getting together at 11:00 am. After a lunch break the Late Models and Figure Eights will gather at 1:00 pm and be followed by the NASCAR Modifieds at 2:30 pm. The afternoon will conclude with the Enduro and Demolition Derby drivers meeting at 4:00 pm, this will be the first year the Demolition Derby drivers will be involved so please take note. Any suggestions you might have for the meetings in advance please e-mail them to Mike and Jim at info@riverheadraceway.com. The Polish Hall is located at 219 Marcy Avenue in Riverhead.
