The Season is Coming...

There are 105 days until the first practice at Riverhead Raceway (if you don't count April 18th itself). Over the last few years, readers here on the message board have posted a countdown, listing drivers and car numbers to count down the days until the gates open. For some, it makes the time seem to pass more quickly...are there any suggestions for the countdown to the 2009 season? Or should we just begin the countdown at 05?

Usually, an '05' would be included in the 5 day thread, as would any other using a number that began with '0'.

The countdown begins at 99. I can't wait until 105 days are over, I wish I could go into hibernation until than.

I'm giving it a few days for everyone to brainstorm and maybe come up with some interesting ideas for 2009.:help:

I did it a few times over the years, may be instead of just listing the names we can also attach pictures of the car and/or driver mentioned. I think that would be fun to see. Of course if you don't have a picture just post the name and someone else might have one or two pictures.
