Could Honey Nuts Cheerios be in Bobbie Labonte's future???
I know Cheerios sponsor went to Richard Childress #33 Chevy with Casey Mears as driver.
But 2009 is going to be an crazy racing season with I guessed it is called Sprint Cup and anything can happen.
So far I have not heard if Richard Childress Racing or Kelvin Harvick Racing laid off any of his workers???
Bobbie Labonte and Richard Childress are good friends.
Richard Childress or Kelvin Harvick can have Bobbie Labonte racing in a NASCAR Cup race car or race truck.

In Nov. 2008, I bought this Bobbie Labonte's Limited Edition Collectors Box of Honey Nuts Cheerios.

The only thing he has right now is a past champ prov. Wherever he ends up it better be a fast ride because there is another past champ now owner looking for that same spot.

Maybe DEI will hire him. With only one 'name' driver, and no sponsors to speak of, it would be a great opportunity for both.

Actually, General Mills went to the No. 33 with Clint Bowyer.

And, in this economic environment, I doubt we'll see a second General Mills-sponsored car, especially for a competitor of RCR.

Bobby Labonte's valuable championship provisional will certainly appeal to a top-35 outsider. Let's just hope Labonte doesn't resort to becoming a mere qualifier.

And, there's always the other two series - Nationwide and Camping World Trucks.... There you might find General Mills sponsoring another car....

I'd like to see him in the truck series and hopefully flourish the rest of his career! Be good for him to ease out of the hectic schedule of Cup racing. He could be with a good team and win races and be placed in a R&D type of cup car!

Casey Mears will race the No. 07 with Clint Bowyer's former team intact.

The No. 33 is a brand new team, with Bowyer at the helm.

Thanks for the info, and the link. Very informative.

Funny, after all the battling to be able to use AT&T on the #31, they seem to be gone too.

Also ironic, now both Burton's have been sponsored by Caterpillar.
