Any one know why Waterford would leave ths SKs off the schedule on two Saturday nights, the 2nd of May and the 12th of Septemeber? If I read the schedule correctly, they are off both of those nights. Will there be some touring division on those nights?

I think, if I understood correctly, they are going to try running the Wednesday night show on Saturday and the Saturday show on Wednesday a couple times.

yes that is correct... planning on doing a nice swap Wacky wed show gonna run saturday and the saturday crew gonna run weds. Everyone is going to get at least one night off during the year off

That is happening in July. These two nights have the regular divisions racing , with the exception of the SKs.

it was announced at the big meeting back a few months ago that every saturday night division would be getting 2 nights off during the season... i think the schedule has something like 19 weeks or something like that and this makes it even out to a 17 race season for every division.

also with things like the oxford 250 for the late mods and other big races... the off weeks for a divisions were scheduled around those times so teams can go and run them...

Where you seeing this. They are already scheduled at Wiscasset on Aug 15th.

Read in Area Auto News, that Wiscasset is tentatively scheduled for Sept 5. And those were the dates given in the paper for Waterford. Remember the posted True Value schedule is tentative. But the Area Auto News is more recent.

As a Waterford regular I like this idea. It'll give the Wed. night drivers some more publicity. The Wacky Wed. shows are good and they have an X-Modified division so the fans will be get to see Modified racing no matter what.

I think Waterford is going to try and line up another Wings and Wheels show like they had last season in which the TVMS and ISMA divisions were both on the same show. They already have the ISMA's scheduled for 8/15. I hope they are succesful; fantastic show last season. :cheers:

I haven't heard anything about this lately. I guess no news is good news. I do know there is a lot of positive vibes from the new management team for the upcoming season.
