That the Sport Mods can be swapped out of 7/25? That looks like our only work conflict for the year and we would really like to make each show.

I understand these things are very complicated, but since it is only Jan I hope a change could be made.

When will the dates for the KOTM series be put in? I only see 2 dates for tour type mods that are 100 laps, not 75 and there is no mention of KOTM with these extra distance races. Oct 11th is the only time KOTM is associated with a race.

The Pennsylvania Asphalt Modified Triple Crown events for 2009 are scheduled for:
May 9-100 laps
July 18-100 laps
Oct. 11-150 laps (KOTM)

It's nice to see you woke up and came up with a schedule that is driver friendly! This means no more giving up your whole summer to live at Mt. Speedway EVERY weekend. Maybe now there will be more then three drivers competing for the points championship at the end of the year because they were the only ones that showed up for every race. Good call, hope to be there again if all goes well.

The "A" program which was originally scheduled for Saturday, September 12...has been moved up one week to Sunday, September 6. It will now be part of an exciting double header Labor Day weekend show, with Monday(Labor Day 9/7), being a rain date for the weekend.

Changes to the schedule are now complete.

Pole day is time trial qualifying for all divisions, to set the field for opening day feature events. It gives those racers that did their homework over the winter...something to shoot for. It is also the first points event for the season, with 50 points going to the fast qualifier and 25 points to any driver who attempts to qualify. An added attraction for this year will see the Mountain Madness Enduro Series sponsored by ABC auto parts running 125 lap enduros each day.

The 2009 schedule looks, well, just about great! It'll cut everyone a little slack and believe it or not, it looks like "short track racing" will be on the rise this season.:)
