We all get to heat up our winter this weekend with a lot of activity on the stove.

The Motorsports Show and the Gambler's Classic in Atlantic City are two things I refuse to miss. I'm sure we'll hear a lot of stories from this week's Chili Bowl once we get there. The action on the track at Boardwalk Hall is intense.

For those who wish to attend both the Motorsports Show and the Gambler's Classic, I have found it easier to park at Boardwalk Hall. There are local buses called Jitney's that have routes that will ferry people back and forth between the venues. The walk between the convention center is only about six or seven blocks but the short bus ride is favorable if the weather conditions aren't.

For details visit the Area Auto News website (http://www.aarn.com/).

The Auto Parts Swap & Sell is going on up in the Modified heartland at Eastern States Exposition. That will be going on Saturday and Sunday and I'm sure there will be some fun there too. For more details, call Start-Finish Productions at (860) 871-6376 or (860) 268-1787.

Also, Donny Lia's 360 RC Speedway and Hobbies will be holding their Carpet Mayhem Grand Slam Series trophy races. For anyone who thinks they might like RC racing, this is a must see. Races on Saturday and Sunday. For details visit the 360 RC Speedway (http://www.360rcspeedway.com/) site.

With all of that to choose from, who is going where?

I know where I'm headed! It's off to Atlantic City. I'm looking forward to the Trenton Speedway Tribute! Trenton was the best one mile track that the Modifieds ever raced at! I put some of my Trenton memories here........http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yRVLswUhK_E
