Just a reminder for everyone about the events going on this weekend...
Saturday night is the R.A.C.E. driver fund fundraiser. It begins at 8:30 pm at East Islip Lanes, and everyone is encouraged to be on time. Tickets are $20 and include two games of bowling and auction tickets for a variety of great baskets and assorted gift certificates and other items that have been donated. Additional auction tickets will be sold, and there will also be a 50/50 raffle. For tickets or any additional information, email racedriverfund@aim.com.
Sunday will be the annual winter competitors' meetings at the Polish Hall on Marcy Avenue in Riverhead. The schedule for the meetings is as follows:
9:30 am - Blunderbusts and Legends
11 am - Chargers and Super Pro Trucks
1 pm - Late Models and Figure Eights
2:30 pm - Modifieds
4 pm - Enduros and Demolition Derby
Two members per team may attend the meetings. For more information, call the track office at (631) 842-7223.
