Riverhead has a vote on Nascar Hall of fame

Just read an article on scenedaily.com that says that 4 short track owners will be on the 20 person nominating committee for the new Nascar Hall of Fame and that Riverhead Raceway is one of the 4. Good to see short tracks recognized.

The article can also be found on the front page of LongIslandJam.com (http://www.longislandjam.com/news/2009/newsmain/news012209b.htm). I agree that it is nice to see some short tracks get input...and to see Riverhead recognized as a "historic" short track.

How come they have 15 or 25 NASCAR Hall of Fame members in 1st year???
