softball game would be fun to do. Something like a picnic, bbq type thing when the weather gets warmer. Dont think the go karts would be good idea...lol We would owe more money back for damages!

The Bowling thing was fun...... I'm sure people would do that again until the weather gets warmer. The softball idea is great to.

-How about a Dunk Tank at the softball game? I'm sure if you ask some officials to volunteer their services, they will be happy to help. Also the season will have had a few weeks completed by the time the weather is warm enough and I 'm also sure that there will be some drivers with issues with officiating by then(right or wrong). What a great way to raise money. I'm sure there are also some grudges between drivers that can be settled productively with a few throws.

-How about a golf outing of some sort?? I know it can be a lot of work, but they are always fun.

-GoKarts would definitely cost more in repairs than raised

-Bowling and Chinese Auction were a great idea too. Why not do it again?

Picinic would be a good idea... To reserve a spot at the park is very inexpensive....you could charge $20 adults, $10 children ... kill two birds with one stone...picinic and softball and other games... (I will help cook)... we could have adult and children games.... golf might be to much $$$$$$ to put together but would be fun... How about a hockey game....we could get our frustration's out at the same time...afterall fighting is legal in hockey...lol ... Artie P.

NOOOO ARTIE!! You shouldnt of mentioned hockey because now my dad will be pushing for that... he just started playin again every once in a while last year! LOLOL

Card tournament would be good. I would deal(cause I have no luck anymore so i feel like quitting!) , Leah has delt tournaments before.

I like the golf outting, might cost a few bucks but im sure a few people are willing as I know about at least 8-10 people right off the bat who would play.

Bowling again is cool as well.

As long as we got something in the works, we can look forward to geting a point fund at the end of the year so we have something to race for at least :disgusted

We have a fundraiser every year at Swan Lake in Manorville, nice course. $150 each includes greens fee, cart, lunch, and dinner where we have chinese auction. Made like $4000 last year and we had to leave the course for over an hour for lightning storms. Everyone played most of the day in the rain. It was fun anyway. If interested I would call soon they book up pretty early. 631-369-1818

Hey Artie, hockey sounds really good. I would love that one, and after all, it's only a 5 minute major for fighting. I could deal with that.

Nothing better than hockey fights. It lets out a lot of stress. haha. And raising money would be a plus as well.

Gary Betteman and the NHL are [..this close..] to outlawing fights in the NHL! Maybe they need to get their expressions out some how, racing season is during the off season of hocket!

i dont think hockey is a good idea... we will have less drivers out there to race.according to my private messages.... a few people dont t hink so either.....not everyone plays hockey,,it would be very hard to get drivers to play hockey rather than play softball.hockey is alot more expensive as well.

I know riverhead high school baseball and football have a bowling tournament where you have a 4 man team.Ladys and men No tap tournament where 9 is a strike to help out the not so great bowlers.I know they had a two game elimination. It was like 200 a team which is 50 bucks a person but they brought in there own kegs and it was free beer with the 50 bucks. It is a tournament so the top three teams won tropheys. Then they had there 50/50 and made some good money.
