Hirschman without a tour ride?

With the news of Eric Rudolph out of the 45 and into the 59 Bennett owned car and Chris Pastreyak moving up to the WMT in the 59 Darling owned car I wondered where it left Matt Hirschman. Then I saw where Matt is listed for speedweeks in the 59 J&J owned car. (can we put an "X" on atleast one of these 59 cars please). I think I have it straight.

According to Speed 51 Matt is without a ride for the 2009 season any insight here from anyone?

I remember that, but I had not heard of him not being with Darling until the Rudolph thing. I didn't even know there was a J&J #59 out there. I doubt he'd make all the races in the #60.

Darling told Matty that he could only run half of the races this year after Bennett dropped him and that they could not run the full WMT schedule. Are they running a full season with Chris if so then maybe Chris came with sponsors and or some $$$ ?

I believe that the Cranmer 59 is a self-owned ride (http://www.cranmerengineering.com/). I imagine is the same one he piloted last year...

If Matt Hirschman can't get a ride on the Whelen Tour, then something is very wrong with the Whelen tour.

The guy wins in 4 different cars last year. Hmmm, maybe it has something to do with the driver. Pretty impressive stuff.

Guess the only way to get a Whelen ride is to come with money in your pocket.

I know I won't be pulling for the new 59 teams on the Whelen tour this year.

I"m the kid will end up some where some how. There's no way he shouldn't be in some one's ride. Heck if I had the ride I would put him in it. Haven't seen anyone get around Concord motorsports park like that kid.

I think you would be amazed at how many drivers and crew members get paid on the WMT.

Not that they are getting rich, but many are getting paid.

Matt said Darling could only run half the WMT about two weeks ago I had a ride offer that might have worked in splitting the schedule with the Darling team. But Wayne felt he needed a driver that could help offset the expenses of running half the WMT schedule. Matty went on a said Wayne and I both agreed that there was no hard feelings between us and he wished them the best.

So it sounds like to me the driver with more of the $$$ got the ride, its a shame but you here this all the time in all kinds of racing these days!

28 is a Raceworks.
Hirschmans are a Troyer outlet.
Maybe he will only drive what they fix and sell.
The same reason Reggie didn't drive on the Tour for a number of years

I didn't realize that Hirschman was a troyer outlet. He should be in the troyer house car then.

the 12 sk will be the new style troyer in fla. i believe the tour car will be a new homemade style body for the season but its your basic body for florida. Sorry i have no pics of the sk to post on here but it looks pretty outrageous to say the least.
