is it true that the figure 8's are going to be doing time trails on the double point shows? and if this is true will they be ran on the 8 or the oval?

It is my understanding that it is being looked into. Nothing has been made definite yet. The possibility was being discussed of running the time trials on the 8.

I think oval heat races would be more entertaining, but a change of pace none the less. Should be interesting.

It doesn't concern me (not my job anymore), and you did spell chicane right!

how can they have time trials on the 8 when they only have the "eye" for time trialing on the oval. and it kind of stinks that now they are allowing quick changes, thats a major advatage on the oval but i guess thats was a way to keep the cost down ?:confused::confused:

well then on the 8 would be the best option for all the drivers in my opinion, so those quick change people dont get too much more of an advantage

Yes, with them allowing the tube clip from old late models thay allowed the rears as well so when you purchase an old latemodel you won't have to change much to keep cost down.
