As a little bit of an aside, I have been informed that, after the last show at Islip in 1984, Bob Finan and Mike Calinoff were witness to the fact that the last person to leave the grounds was none other than Fred Tuski Jr. It had been an all-night pit party, and Tuski Jr. rolled off the property sometime late Sunday morning or early Sunday afternoon.

Finan sends along word that Tuski Jr. now races down in Florida.

That doesn't look like Ted Wesnofske, to me. Looks more like a young Dan MacNamara!

71 was also driven by Sal Corradengo at Islip. He still has pictures of it on the wall in his office!
