Bowman Gray Stadium Question

When does BGS typically wrap up their season? If I were to go to the Bristol mod race in August, would BGS still be open on SAT the 15th or SAT the 22nd?

I see the WNST race there is on 8/1. Isn't that usually the finale?

The tour race is not the last race of the season. If you go by last year (and the schedule is the same every year), you should be able to see the 150 lap season ending race on the 15th. The next weekend is available for a rain date, but for some reason they never use the dates they have aside for rain dates.

bgs starts the last week of april and ends the 3rd week of august... they never race on july 4 weekend.. it always says available for rain date, but i was told that was for insurance purposes... i have known them to use the rain date at the end of the season, which would extend it 1 more saturday...

Cool. So if the weather holds, I could do that on Sat and then go to Bristol for the Tuesday night race.

I know Ace races on Friday nights. Anyplace local that does Sundays in that area?

If your looking for a sweet vacation down South, I would say make the Finale at Bowman Gray Stadium then head to Bristol.

I've been to a lot of places... Nothing compares to Bowman Gray
