I sat just below a sea of Canadians last night who didn't even know who Patrick Leperle was and despite not understanding hardly anything they said to each other it was clear that they were going to remember the names of Ted Christopher, Ronnie Silk and Bobby Grigas. Their excitement was like listening to the Italians duing the world cup, you have no clue what they are saying yet you know they are loving it.

You could say that the mighty mods unified evevyone last night, even the SLM folks went from laughing when someone lost it off of turn one and wiped out the hopes of a handful of contenders; to speachless as the final 35 laps or so, the mods put on a show that thrilled the entire house and drew a standing ovation as the checkers fell. Congrats to TC, Silk and Grigas and welcome to all the new mod fans from last night.
