As mentioned before, if anyone has a driver or team website, please send a link to gjtost@verizon.net and I will add it to the Sundance Vacations Speedway web page. Please be sure to add a link to the Sundance Vacations (www.sundancevacations) website. In the near future the folks at Sundance will be adding a race page to their site and you should then redirect your link to that particular page.

If you don’t have a website but do have a My Space page, please send me the link to that as well. With doing so, please make Sundance Vacations your #1 friend.

This is not only good for driver, team and sponsor exposure via the Internet, but it is also one of the keys to receiving Sundance Vacations Speedway contingencies through out the season.

If you were unable to attend the Meet and Greet, here are a few website basics to keep in mind. Geno can help you with any other questions you may have in regards to a great looking website for your racing team.

-A race team website can be a first impression for potential sponsors or marketing partners
-Every team can always use additional sponsors to help with racing costs
-A website can be a source of advertising revenue (Sell advertising space on website, Online store, etc.)
-Be sure to include information on your race team that potential sponsors will be interested in
-Network...Include a links page on your website to other sponsors
-Keep website up-to-date! (Results, Where you race, etc.)
-Include a blog...Tell everyone how the previous race went, Thank anyone that helped out that week, and any expectations for upcoming event
-Give correct dates and times of race events planned
-Include your correct contact info
-Explain the type of car(s) you race
-Show video clips
-Prepare press releases for your race team or driver
-Have a photo section pertaining to your team
-Sell team apparel...not only can it be a source of revenue, but it will gain you exposure (Here is a good example: Have a sponsor pay for the shirts-let them include their logo/info)
-Make friends with the media...They can be your best friend or your worst enemy
-Most importantly, keep your website simple and professional looking...If you don't feel you can handle it yourself, find someone who can (Make sure you have access to your Password, Username, etc., and keep it on file...not in your toolbox!)
