Eric Zeh and Justin Bonsignore again posted top five finishes in yesterday's Champ Kart feature in Providence. Zeh finished second, with Bonsignore taking home a fourth-place finish. There will be a story up on the front page of LongIslandJam.com by tonight.

Congratulations to both drivers. For anyone who wasn't there, I can assure you that they both put on a heck of a show against some pretty stiff competition.

From what I was told, not an easy job. Small area and they FLY around the track.....hard to get good shots

It was fun. Atlantic City was the first time I ever went to an indoor race. I owe thanks to Justin Bonsignore and the entire Solomito family for all of their help in getting to know who was who in the karts. I couldn't do any of what I do without the help I get from others, and I appreciate all of the assistance.

Providence was incredible!

It was quite the sight seeing Justin show up not intending to race and getting it together and out there...and being a top competitor without any practice time. Eric Zeh put on an incredible show and had no problems getting around the track. It was great to see two Long Island drivers finish in the top five both nights. That says a lot for the go-kart program we have here as well.

"Wild Bill" just couldn't seem to catch a break all weekend. But he always had a smile on his face, and that's what this is supposed to be all about. Better luck next time.

Congrats to Chris Daley, a talented driver that I met for the first time in Atlantic City and who was fortunate enough to have to report to the media room both nights in Rhode Island for interviews. I understand that Chris may do a bit of kart racing at Riverhead this season as well.

And a special "thanks" to the great photographers from TheChromeHorn.com who were nice enough to snap some kart pictures to share with LongIslandJam.com. Your work is appreciated.
