Less than two weeks until Waterford opens. Looking forward to seeing how the New Speedbowl will be this year. Saw on their website that the feature event , the big money SK show is NOT scheduled to be the last race of the day. Good move, I think.

I agree, that is a good move, especially for those of us bringing a young child since the next day is a school day.

Did Waterford get the Nascar sanction?

I did read somewhere that drivers haven't gotten paid for last September, and that they probably won't.

And what of All Star, did the modified drivers ever get paid the point fund? Or the last race up there? Anyone know??

wow, only 20 sk's show up for a 5k to win race at Wateford, not even a TC in the field. state of the economy? state of the SK's? or just the state of things at waterford?

Any chance they will try and get the show in tomorrow?

Heard Keith Rocco was fastest

Only 20 mods, can't imagine what the weekly field will look like, cuz a few of these 20 aren't gonna run there each and every Saturday.

Speedbowl Postpones Sunday's Scheduled Events
Speedbowl Management has postponed Sunday's 13th Annual Budweiser Modified Nationals due to the heavy weather moving through the area this morning.
The 30-lap features for the Street Stocks and Mini Stocks, 50-lap Late Model event, and 150-lap SK Modified® main event will all be made up at a later date to be announced.

Those holding grandstands tickets to the event are urged to hold their tickets for the rain date. Pit area attendees must hold their event gate stub and wristband for the resecheduled event.
