It is with mixed emotions that I would like to inform all of the Jam readers that, effective April 18th, I will be resigning as managing editor of LongIslandJam.com in order to take on a new role as the official track PR writer for Bethel Motor Speedway.

I will be at Bethel on Saturday nights, but I will continue to come to Riverhead on Sundays, as I do still hope to race my enduro truck. JA and Richie will be temporarily juggling the editorial duties of the site, and Ryan will be returning as a reporter for the season. I'm sure the Jam will keep me informed of anything I miss at Riverhead on Saturday nights.

JA is allowing me to remain with the Jam as an editor-at-large, so I will still be contributing occasional articles and continuing to add to the successful site that JA, Richie, and so many others have made possible.

This is a tremendous opportunity for me, and one that most likely would never have happened without the Jam. The Jam - and all of the great people at Riverhead that I got to work with through it - taught me more than I ever could have learned on my own, and helped me forge relationships that have aided my personal and professional development.

I cannot even begin to express thanks to everyone...the list would be far too long, and would include each and every person I have had contact with. So, thank you all...and here's to a successful 2009 season for ALL of us, no matter what short track we're at!

Congrats on the new position. Bethel is only about 80 miles from me so if I have a free weekend, I will come down.

I want to thank everyone for the support and the well wishes. It really does mean a lot.

I hope that everyone has a wonderful season. I will certainly be keeping an eye on the Jam to see how everyone's seasons are going. I also hope to send in articles for the Jam when any Long Islanders come up to Bethel.

So thanks again to everyone, and I hope to see you all soon. If there is ever anything I can do for anyone, don't hesitate to ask!
