Just as an FYI for anyone going to practice this weekend...

Pit gates will open at 9 a.m.

According to Bob Finan's "Eye on Riverhead", practice itself will hit the track at noon.

No car will be allowed on the track without first going through and passing safety tech. If you did not get a sticker at preseason tech, be sure to get there early so that you can get through inspection and still make use of as much practice time as possible.

i was told the enduros are not running until 4:30 fyi...

Yes, typically the enduro classes are given the final hour of practice time for the day.

Personally, I would still aim to get there fairly early, as your practice time is limited and you want to make sure you get your sticker and don't lose out on any of that time.

well we got there at 9:00 only to find out the Enduro cars only need to get tech insp. the day of the race, but we hung out and watched all the warm ups all day. it was beautiful. Then Tara got her warm-up laps in.
