It's that time of year again...Duct Tape 50

It’s becoming that time of year again, June 20th, 2009 will be the 4th annual Duct Tape 50 for the factory Stock Division at Sundance Vacations Speedway. This will be a 50 lap race of side by side and three wide non stop racing action. The last three years had great car counts and some great lap bonus prizes. Last year alone we collected over $500 in lap bonus money and this year I would like to do the same. Instead of giving it to the top three leaders of every lap, we are going to give it to one of the top five drivers of a selected lap. I have been working with a sponsor for this race and hope to add even more to the purse and make it the best paying Factory Stock race ever at Sundance Vacations Speedway. With no repeat race winners in the division and a lot of new faces this year, who could be the next to join the list of winners consisting of Dave Cascioli, Ricky Ross jr, and Scott Adams. I got few calls from some ex factory stock drivers from the past and they will be making a showing in two weeks. I am hoping for a good field of cars to give the fans a show they will remember.

The laps are also filling up so it should be a good payout, as for the sponsor???? still working on them. :wave:

its 2 50 am on friday i am sitting in my garage making preparations for the big race i heard it is double points (not like it matters to me) but is this true. Also it says that the lap money is added to the purse this year does that mean that there will no longer be money awarded by the lap....just curious i still have a bad taste in my mouth after last year being sent to the rear for running over and spinning shaw after he blew his tranny in front of me so i cant wait to have another shot at this one!!!! also i have been in attendence for every duct tape 50 so far (raced in 2 of them) and everyone of them have been during the day time....IS THERE ANYCHANCE WE CAN RUN UNDER THE LIGHTS THIS YEAR????

The race is double points because it is replacing the Summer RACEFEST 40-lap double points event for the factory stocks. This was there will still be a big double points Summer RACEFEST event for the Factory Stocks, and what better way to do it than in the Duct Tape 50?:applause:

i was glad i could be apart of that race...just wish my power steering hadent given up on lap 6 so i coulda given mike a better run for the win( my shoulder is still killin me)....but again congrats to mike moyer and moyer racing for the win and i hope everyone enjoyed the show
