WMT Tour Race on May 22 at Stafford Springs

I will be making the 4 hour trip from Maine down to Stafford and I was wondering if anyone recommended Hotels or anything I should know before arriving at Stafford.... It's been 13 years since I have been down there

Red Roof Inn in Enfield, CT or Motel 6

Its a little farther away from the track but the Residence Inn in Windsor is a really nice place to stay. Its like having an apartment.

Sounds like a plan....I am driving back home on Saturday the 23rd to Maine only to pick up my Family and head for Thunder Road for the TVMS/ACT doubleheader

If you have to return to Maine the next day, then maybe consider staying in Auburn or Worcester, at least you'd be headed in the right direction. Ideally, to save a ton of driving, take the family with you, stay in Enfield and head up 91 to VT.

That Sounds like a plain but my family can't make it to Stafford as I will be in the pits working on a MOD, But now my family and I will be heading to the Pass race at WMMP on Saturday then driving over to Vermont for the ACT race.....

A good choice, for just a couple $ more than a Stafford tix, you get 150 lap PASS race and 100 lap TVMS and 100 lap ACT, all green flag laps too. Where are you staying in N. Woodstock/Lincoln and how much. I haven't made my reservation yet, the place I stayed last year was $50 and was a great room, but I think they are now closed.

I am not sure yet... I might drive straight home Friday night after the Mod race depending on what time the feature goes off....If I stay and drive home in the am to get the family I am not sure if we will stay in North Woodstock or drive straight to Vermont, The Pass Race starts at 4 pm and if all goes well I believe the pass race will be over around 7:30 so if I am right I will drive straight to Vermont, But I'm really not sure!!!!
