Craig Meyer, a multi-time feature winner at both Riverhead Raceway and Islip Speedway with a combined 13 wins in three different divisions, passed away on Saturday, May 2nd after a battle with cancer. His wife, two children, and sister were by his side. Meyer is the father of Riverhead Raceway competitor Wanye Meyer and father-in-law of Jamie Lee Meyer.

Services are being held on Monday, May 4 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Thomas B. Dobies Funeral Home in Port Richey, Florida. Services will also be held in New York at a later date, and details will be made available.

My sympathies go out to the Meyer family, and all of those who are touched by this sad news.

Thanks to everyone for the kind words. I lost both my grandparents,uncle, and now my father,all in the last 6 months! Hopefully thats it for a long time! This is some tuff crap to deal with.but again thanks!!
