Modified fans...you'll want to be at Sundance Vacations Speedway this Saturday, May 9th, as the mighty Tour Type Modifieds take to the lightning fast 1/3 mile paved oval located in St. Johns, PA., for 100 laps of ground pounding Modified mania that will see many top Modified drivers from throughout the northeast, battle for the $3500 top prize!
You won't want to miss any of the action, so plan on arriving early to get a seat for the first of three BIG Tour Type Modified events scheduled for the action packed racing season, at the historic speedway located in northeastern Pennsylvania, conveniently located just minutes from the I-80/I-81 interchange and nestled between the cities of Hazleton and Wilkes-Barre.
Heat race qualifying will get underway at 6 pm. Along with the Tour Type Modifieds, will be the Late Models, Factory Stocks, and the popular winged wonders known as the ATQMRA 3/4 midgets. Features will follow headlined by the $3500 to win-100 lap event for the Mods, co-sponsored by Global Risk Management and D + B Towing of Humboldt, PA.
Pits open at 2 pm.
Practice at 4 pm.
Grandstands at 4:30 pm.
Racing begins 6 pm!
Just $22 for adult grandstand admission, but...better yet, kids 10 and under are always FREE!!!
(Rain date for this event will be Sunday,5/10-Mothers day)
Pit admission: $30 (w/SVS license), $40 (without)
(Note: $100 car entry fee for Modified event)
