Bruno Brackey at Freeport I believe was in his 70's.

All time anywhere how about Red Farmer, still racing must be about 80.

When Freeport closed in 1983 Bruno Brackey was 63. The last time he drove in an actual race was in 1996 for three weekends at West End Fairgrounds in my Legends car. He was 76. He finished 8th in the main event on all three occassions.

Personally, I know of drivers on the West Coast that are racing in their 80s.

In fact, a legend plans a return out there:

As far as Long Island, that's an excellent question. If my memory is correct, Silas Hiscock Sr. is 68 in the Legends, which would make him the oldest active driver at Riverhead. There might be an enduro driver that's older that I am unaware of.

How old was Fred Harbach in his final season?

Fred was only 55 when he retired, 58 when he passed way too young.

Bob Finan sent me his two cents:

[How old was] Russ Klar when he won a NASCAR Modified feature at Islip in his #35 under his other racing name?

Don't forget, although he's not on the Island, Jack Duffy in Florida, who is still racing and winning in the TQ Midgets, must be in his late 70's if not 80!

The oldest driver to compete at Riverhead Raceway was Eddie B. Sr. He drove someone's back-up Mod when he was, I believe 73 young years of age. I remember Bob Finan announcing that during the race. He only did a few laps, but it was a pleasure to see him drive around the track again.
