Why don't they move Mod qualifying up an hour...thus moving the truck qualifying up an hour and giving the Mods a chance to actually finish the race. I can see it now, the Mod race will be cut short because the trucks have to go off at 8:00 for TV. 3 hours to get the car ready to qualify is a little much, IMO.

Just heard that FOX will be showing the race on tv (30 minute delay).

Just curious. Since FOX does their last Cup broadcast in July, why would THEY be doing any of the Bristol races? Wouldn't ESPN be doing the show at that point of the season?
On another note, wouldn't a 30 minute delay (6:30PM) in the broadcast make the race back up into the truck race broadcast at 8PM?

Fox is done after Dover. Interestingly, Connecticut based ESPN has the coverage at Bristol. Now, I know they won't cancel sportscenter for a mod race but a tape delay can't be out of the question. ESPN has already given this race a decent amount of pub.
