Lets hope whoever is in charge of PR and advertising of this race does a better job. Last year there were people who were just arriving to the track just after the race ended because they thought this was a night race like the year before. The local radio station didnt help either by advertising the race until after it was over

That is good news. The NHMS webpage has the posted purse for next week at a little over 166,000. Not bad. Not as good as the Busch East ($217k), but not bad at all.
