i'm putting together my first 4cyl car. is a 12 gallon cell enough?

that should be plenty , considering you are only going about 33 miles in a race

that will be fine. I only have a 12 gallon or so STOCK fuel tank on my car...and it didn't take anywhere near that much for a full race.

I think it would hold about 8 gals:lol:
That should be good even if your car gets only 5 mpg

I think after the last race I added right around 3 gallons of gas to my 4 cylinders tank...that was after running 85 laps at full throttle...and not really sure if it was even completely full before I started the race
8 should be good. like sapp said, even at 5mpg you would still make it, and you should be getting better mileage than that.

of course if you can get a 12 for free put that sucker in and fill it up, that is if your 4 cyl is a FWD. You will need all the rear weight you can get in that thing. It helps to get around the track when it dries up a little, but not too good on a wet track...:rolleyes:
