Unfortunately this weeks race was rained out. it was to be the Ernie Maynor memorial Barraso and sons night.
Roger had family come from North Carolina and California.
It was a very emotional time when Ernie's brothers and sisters came to my house to see Ernie's car for the first time in many years.
For us old timers, You will be blown away by the striking resemblance of Alfred (Ernie's brother) to the late great Ernie The Wrench Maynor.
There was not a dry eye to be seen when Alfred sat in his brothers car for the first time in many years.
It is a shame this family came from far away to see their nephew race in the race in their brothers name, But it made all my efforts to restore Ernie's car worth wild to see this family stand around the 82.
