Firecrackers and Fireworks at Monadnock July 4th
As the country celebrates another birthday this 4th of July, the True Value Modified Racing Series rolls into the Monadnock Speedway for the “Firecracker 100”.
This will be the second of two shows put on by the Tour in 2009 at Monadnock. The first show at the Rt. 10 Speedway in Winchester, NH.saw Rob Goodenough of Swanzey, NH. Pull off his second career victory in his Hamshaw Lumber machine. Fan favorite Dwight Jarvis of Ascutney, VT. Came from deep in the pack during the April 25th show to finish second and the hard charging Jon McKennedy of Chelmsford, MA. Was third.
As the Tour makes its way to Monadnock, the point’s battle is red hot! Jon McKennedy sits on top of the points with Steve Masse, Ed Dachenhausen, Rob Gooenough and Chris Pasteryak only separated by 48 points.
Questions to be answered this forth of July are, Will West Swanzeys Kirk Alexander brake into victory lane in 2009, Will Dwight Jarvis brake the streak of second place finishes and can Bellingham MA. Driver Steve Masse vault back into the points lead with another fantastic finish? For the answers, leave the yard work till Sunday and make plans to attend the “Firecracker 100” @ the Monadnock Speedway.
Qualifying races and a consolation race will determine the starting lineup starting at 6 P.M. Saturday Night July 4th.
