:D:D$$$$$$$ A big FAT purse $$$$$$$$$:D:D

Ha ha, all kidding aside it looks like we have 2 more already. There was a 7th truck who had to drop out at the last minute also. So we should be at 9 easily. Grand Enduros and Legends are running that night at Riverhead so that takes out 2/3 other trucks. If anyone knows how to get a hold of Frank Katona, he may be interested, he always runs with us at SVS. I believe Uncle Petey has a truck, it needs some repairs, maybe if some one could help him out and get it towed up there he'd run. What do you say Uncle Petey???? Lets drag those Trux out of the woods and get 'em to the track for some....RACIN RACIN RACIN :D:cheers:

Don't get your hopes up yet...Last race we received a VERY brief race report (maybe 5 lines total) only to find in the AARN a half page article...let's see what Earl writes up in the periodicle. Plus, this isn't the report that Cindy and Geno put together. Cindy takes many notes during the race and sends her report to Geno for a final version which he sends out to many many different sites. We'll keep you posted.

Don't you worry Bryan, I gotcha covered!!;) Unfortunately, AARN likes to cut a lot of what we submit (like Erin said) but I do believe Joe will post up on the NEETS front page what we've written. By the way, thank you so much for bringing all the Islanders with you!!! You guys put on an awesome show, the crowd was on their feet screaming at that finish! Hope more of the trucks can race in the next one...get crackin Critter!!:)

Congrats to John for the win!!

how about a two hundred lap truck race if we get twenty or more trucks maybe with stopping at one point and inverting the field any ideas?

Erin C

200 laps wouldn't be a great idea with 20 trux. It would get boring if there is a wreck in the first 50 laps that takes most out and there is a 150 lap chase after that. If there was 100 trux it would be more interesting, but not 20. Plus we have to be able to work with Jim on this...I don't think he would be too keen on adding laps because we are working on a tight time schedule there with it being a Saturday night race.

Buckshot11

wooooo 200 laps now that would be endurance racing. My right front tire barley made 50 laps haha. There would also be a fight for last place mid race if we were gonna invert the field.

Erin C
07-16-2009, 10:24 AM
lol...that would be the slowest last lap EVER!

Just make sure you keep the reverse gear in the truck...

the trucks could run with another division for the firts part of the race lets just say small car than invert or what ever run the last fifty trucks only? just a tought would like sponsoer the trucks next year but we need to have a better trux turn out
