Today my passeneger car/ daily driver hit the 100,000 mile mark.:cheers:
I never had a car that made it this far!
Future Enduro car? Nope- Larry already reconstructed it once when I hit a stone wall on the road. Just going to drive it til I can't drive it anymore!

The truck I use to haul my car to the track is almost at 370,000...400,000 will be its next big milestone.

I remember when my Eagle Talon hit 100k...I took a picture as the odometer was changing

It's a 1995 Ford Taurus. My last year's enduro car was the "parts car" for it- no longer have a lot of spare parts. I used them all!...

My mom's 1989 Chevy van hit the 200,000 mile mark (before Larry put a junkyard motor in it).:cheers:

I think Larry's '79 Ford that tows the cars to the tracks has a lot of miles on it too!:cheers::cheers:

I think one of my old enduro cars must of had about 100K on it....................
I ran it for about 12 years averaging 15 to 20 races a year finally sold it, wonder how the tetanus mobile is doing.........................
Maybe the peeps who bought it are saving it for the enduro hall of fame..............
UNCLE PETEY.....................

My Mazda 3 is only 4 years old and I'm inching up on the 100K mark myself...I'm waiting for the 88,000 mark next to reset my trip mileage counter so it will read 888.8 exactly when I hit 88,888......talk about bordem!

I'll post up the photo in the next few weeks....since I average about 300-400 miles a week, it doesn't take too long!

mine should be hitting 2,000 on the way home, lol. Sorry to say I never had a car with over 80,000 miles on it and in the last 5 or so years I haven't had a car with more than 20,000. I get bored easily, lol.

You like your 3? I have an 08 Mazda 6, same car...with a better trunk

The 3 is ok....was a lot better before I left my windows down for that REALLY DUSTY race....not it has an odor I can't get rid of and for once it is not me!

I can't say anything bad about it, it gets me to and from work each day and I drive the poop out of it, so for me it works...

So....with that bigger trunk of yours.....do you have junk in your trunk?

Haha the bigger trunk works better for hauling tires and other car parts around. Mine only has 12k on it or somewhere around there. And I don't leave my windows opened ANYWHERE...I have the all black interior with black leather seats...its hard to keep clean

My enduro car had 213,000 miles on it when I got it a few months ago, now three races later it's still going strong (at least I hope)

The car I drive to the races (and every day) is a '98 Saturn wagon (SW2) with 155k, still going strong 36+MPG on the highway, just change the oil, buy tires, and laugh at those who's cars don't make it that far, that well.....

Nope, won't let it become an Enduro car, it's been to good to me. :)

I have a 1993 eagle talon 1.8 liter sohc that has 170k on it and still getting right around 33-36 mpg. The car is BEAT lol. I bought it when I was 16 with only 90k miles on it. I beat the crap out of it in high school

Steve, Steve, Steve...NO NO NO!!!!

You have to ease into bringing your "first ever" car onto the track....wait until he at least has a new car that he can use everyday....like a 2008 Mazda 6.....now he has no excuses!!! BRING IT OUT NATE!!!! :applause::applause::applause:

My first car was an '89 Pontiac Sunbird....POS edition! Radio didn't work right, A/C was a no go, power steering belts always frayed off after a month or so, ran on 3 cylinders, leaked oil and numerous other fluids, overheated a lot and finally, the serp. belt never stayed where it belonged.......I had to catch the school bus from different stops as my car used to stall out halfway to school.....LOL!!!!

But, when I put it on the track....ran like a gem.....smooth, cool, ....slow..., no belt issues, didn't even leak anymore......

I tried to kill it on the streets....like a 40 MPH throw it into park....I tried to kill it in the races...in the end, I ended up giving it away to someone else who finally got fed up with it and left it at the track for ABC to turn into a cube!

.....I miss my cube......
