Hey Uncle Petey-

Did you make it to Wall in time?

How did you do?

Jack, I need to know something. The dirt you took home, was it all from that spot of your car?? I knew there was quite the dent in that side of the car but by the end of the race it looked flat with all the dirt in there...like it was bondo'd! Maybe if you let the dirt dry up and sand it down you could have painted it and it would have looked like a nice straight body! :p

It took 2 hours of powerwashing to get all that dirt out! I came home today and there was more on the ground. Bondo? no. good idea though. Now alll the damage shows. OUCH!!!!

OUCH!!!!Shouldn't take 2 hours of power washing. Next time, just soak the whole area, let it sit about 20 minutes, and it will slide right off with the next hosing. I've done it, and it works.

Oh, I understand. I went to a race at pocoNO a number of years ago, and they'd just plowed up the camping area prior to getting 2 weeks of rain. I left with (literally) 3-4 inches of Pennsylvania clay (mud) stuck in my wheels and all over the side of my van. it was so bad, I had to clean out the rims after I hit the highway because it unbalanced my steering.
When I got it home, I pulled it off to the side of my driveway, and attempted to rinse it off. Didn't work, but getting it that wet, it rinsed right off 20 minutes later. It works, I've tested the theory!

Next question.

Ill try it next time. the outside wasnt the problem, it was in all the joints and cracks(not that crack) good thing no one checked anyones ride height, there was enuff weight in my car to lower it 3 inches.
