How come the number 15 small car placed 11th on the results page, but 24th and 107 laps down on my laps :lol:

Because he has a lot of "noise" when he crossed the loop for the transponder check which means that his wouldn't pick up every lap so I hand scored him. The cause of the "noise" is an incorrectly mounted transponder..there should be NO metal underneath the transponder or it just makes my job more difficult.

Hope that explains it!

PS...Please guys...double check how you mount your transponder, if there is any metal underneath it the signal is distorted...if there is no metal you are perfect! There is always 1 or 2 during the race who has "noise" that I have to watch because of an improperly mounted transponder.

The rules state a 3X3 hole must be cut for the transponder.....but at least a 4X4 hole should be cut just to be safe....

Also, mounting the unit in the CENTER of the flap helps....if you mount it off to one side of the flap, you are defeating the purpose.
